SERVICE BULLETIN M1501: 2018 â 2020 CVO SMOKED SATIN CHROME EXHAUST SHIELD FINISH. PURPOSE. REVISION. This bulletin informs dealers that the 2019 Touring CVO Smoked Satin Chrome exhaust shield finish changed from the 2018 finish during the model year change from a satin finish to a gloss finish. Harley-Davidson has created new part numbers for 2020 Smoked Satin exhaust shields. These new parts will also become the service parts for 2018 Smoked Satin Chrome exhaust shields and will exhibit the satin finish. The previous part numbers used in 2018 will continue to be produced with a glossy appearance and will be the service part for 2019 vehicles.
