Bulletin Summary
Complaint For a problem involving the soft top opening/closing function in combination with the cited fault code, the retainer lock (4) on the closure of the soft top compartment cover may no longer be seated in its position. Cause The control cable may have become detached from its tray and pulled off the retainer lock as a result Remedy Cut through control cable (3) at knot (C) and remove from vehicle. Then install retainer lock (4) again in the position described in WIS AR77.30-P-0999-04WEA. This WIS document also contains the relevant photographs with matching call outs.
