Bulletin Summary
Complaint The complaint reported is that the driver display shows the message “Frunk open” although it is closed. No damage is present on the lock. The problem may occur in the following scenario: 1. Ignition on/vehicle ready to drive 2. Frunk is unlocked 3. Ignition is switched off 4. Frunk is closed. Cause After the ignition is switched off, the head unit CIVIC174 does not register that the frunk is closed. -> Software A26/17 Head Unit (CIVIC174) Remedy SW solution is being worked on. In the event of a problem, please open and close the frunk with the ignition switched on.
