Bulletin Summary
Complaint Customer states CEL is active in instrument cluster, may report rough running. Cause Possible ME control unit software Remedy On applicable vehicles with complaint above, check for ME software updates and update as available. Afterwards ensure that the mixture adaptations are cleared by viewing the injector performance data in the ME. Perform a sensor rotor adaptation then perform an AMG engine adaptation drive. Afterwards drive the vehicle in "C" with ECO disabled for about 50 miles. This drive needs to be on surface streets (no steady state highway driving). Afterwards let the car go to sleep, then test drive it again and QC. If the complaint is no longer present, release the car to the customer. If there is no software update available OR if the complaint reoccurs, process the car via LI07.61-P-070707.
