Indian Motorcycle has determined that 2018-19 Indian Scout, Scout Sixty & Scout Bobber Owner?s Manuals are missing Emissions Warranty content, pursuant to U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and California Air Resources Board (CARB) requirements. The subject warranty coverage has always been in place since the original purchase of the vehicle, i.e., the coverage was unaffected by the information inadvertently omitted from the manual. Indian Motorcycle has released this Team Tip to instruct dealers to add the Owner?s Manual addendum below to any Owner?s Manual of an Indian Scout, Scout Sixty & Scout Bobber in whole good inventory. In addition, Indian Motorcycle will be mailing a notification letter and copy of the Owner?s Manual addendum to consumers affected by this. This addendum outlines vehicle Noise and Emission warranty coverage, terms and conditions.
