Bulletin Summary
The information and instructions in a Keystone Service Bulletin (KSB) are intended to inform RV dealership Service Managers/Technicians of situations that may occur with some Recreational vehicles so dealership personnel can perform proper and efficient service. KSBâs are intended to be used by trained RV technicians with the knowledge, tools and equipment to do the job properly and safely, not âdo-it-yourselfersâ. Information is not presented as a repair guaranteed to be covered by warranty. Keystoneâs P & P (Policy & Procedures) must be followed for any requested warranty work. Do not assume this repair is covered by warranty. Not every unit listed requires a repair. This process describes how to inspect and add an End of Line Resistor (EOL) to the In-Command system that may be exhibiting erratic readings on HVAC and/or lose communication with components. It has been determined the vehicles in this KSB population may have been manufactured without the EOL resistor in the âGatewayâ located in the Roof A/C.
About Technical Service Bulletins
A Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) is a document issued by a vehicle manufacturer to its dealers, describing a known issue with a specific vehicle or set of vehicles and the recommended procedure to fix it. Unlike recalls, TSBs are not mandatory and are typically only performed if an owner reports the related issue. However, TSBs can be an indicator of common problems with a vehicle.
