Bulletin Summary

Indian Motorcycle has identified a potential calibration issue affecting some 111/116 c.i. motorcycles. In some instances, the throttle twist grip and Electronic Throttle Control (ETC) position signals do not align with the predicted position within the ECM and set a P1530 fault (throttle plausibility). When active, the P1530 fault causes the motorcycle to operate in a reduced power (limp) mode.

About Technical Service Bulletins

A Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) is a document issued by a vehicle manufacturer to its dealers, describing a known issue with a specific vehicle or set of vehicles and the recommended procedure to fix it. Unlike recalls, TSBs are not mandatory and are typically only performed if an owner reports the related issue. However, TSBs can be an indicator of common problems with a vehicle.
