Mazda Motor Corporation has decided to take corrective action on certain 2022MY MX-5 built in Japan from September 5th to September 8th, 2022. All vehicles in this campaign must be repaired prior to retail delivery. Concern Outline: On the subject vehicles, an abnormal noise may be heard from the rear differential when the vehicle is operating around 68 mph. The noise is caused by improper differential teeth contacting between the ring gear and drive pinion.
