Bulletin Summary
Altec Industries, Inc. has received notification from Ford Motor Company that a condition exists relating to motor vehicle safety, compliance, or emissions in certain vehicles that are equipped with Altec equipment. On certain 2023-2024 F650-F750 vehicles, it may be possible for the parking brake to disengage without pressing the release button. If the parking brake is unintentionally disengaged, the vehicle could roll away, increasing the risk of crash or injury. Ford Motor Company is working to develop the service remedy for this repair. When the service repair and parts are available, Ford Motor Company will notify the owners via mail to schedule a service appointment with a dealer for repairs to be completed free of charge (parts and labor).
