Altec Industries, Inc. has received notification from Ford Motor Company that a condition exists relating to motor vehicle safety, compliance, or emissions in a vehicle you possess that is equipped with Altec equipment. On certain 2023 model year Ford F-150 Pickup, Ford F-150 Lightning Pickup, and Ford Super Duty vehicles, an insufficient weld in your steering wheel clock spring may lead to a loss of electrical circuit connection with your steering wheel and the driverâÂÂs front airbag. If this occurs, the airbag warning light in the vehicleâÂÂs instrument cluster will illuminate.
