Bulletin Summary
Chassis Advisory Notice (CAN) - SPARTAN 2020 and 2021 K2 and K3 series chassis equipped with Independent Front Suspension, supplied by Reyco Granning, LLC. The steering gear mounting fasteners may come loose and fall out or interfere with other steering components. If this were to occur and interferer with the pitman arm, it may cause difficulty in steering or pin the steering wheel to one direction that could increase risk of a crash. While an increase in steering effort to hold the vehicle straight may be noticed, the steering gear mounting fasteners may loosen without warning.
About Technical Service Bulletins
A Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) is a document issued by a vehicle manufacturer to its dealers, describing a known issue with a specific vehicle or set of vehicles and the recommended procedure to fix it. Unlike recalls, TSBs are not mandatory and are typically only performed if an owner reports the related issue. However, TSBs can be an indicator of common problems with a vehicle.
