Bulletin Summary
When a Karavan model USTM-6000-TDB10-78 is packaged under a Bayliner model Element XR7 we?ve discovered there is too great of a distance between the outboard motor skeg (motor tilted UP/tow position) and the trailer taillights. This distance is greater than certain state laws allow. We have created a new bunk kit which will include another set of taillights mounted to the end of the carpeted bunk. With the new bunk kit installed, the distance between the outboard motor skeg (motor tilted UP/tow position) and the trailer taillights will be an acceptable distance
About Technical Service Bulletins
A Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) is a document issued by a vehicle manufacturer to its dealers, describing a known issue with a specific vehicle or set of vehicles and the recommended procedure to fix it. Unlike recalls, TSBs are not mandatory and are typically only performed if an owner reports the related issue. However, TSBs can be an indicator of common problems with a vehicle.
