DELIVERY STOP / SERVICE ACTION: PROGRAM BODY DOMAIN CONTROLLER (BDC). In case of a rollover-crash, the doors should be locked after the crash and only unlocked after 6 s. In case of a frontal crash, the doors should be unlocked after 160 milliseconds. Due to software errors in the Body Domain Controller (BDC) a rollover-crash leads to an immediate unlocking (after 30 milliseconds) and in a frontal crash the doors are unlocked only after 300 milliseconds.
