BMW AG has issued a Delivery Stop(effective November 4, 2024) on a smallnumber of Model Year 2025 BMW vehiclesthat were produced on October 14, 2024. Vehicles produced on October 14, 2024, withoption code(s) 05AS (Active Driving Assistant)and/or 5AU (Driving Assistance Pro); andhave a short-range radar sensor (SRRsensor) clipped into the left and right rear ofthe vehicle. The short-range radar sensor(SRR sensor) on the right rear of the vehiclemay come loose while driving. A loose short-range sensor (SRR sensor) maycause a fault in the driver assistance systemwhich is displayed to the customer via acheck control message (CCM). In individualcases, the performance of this driverassistance function maybe reduced/notfunctioning if the vehicle is being approachedfrom the right rear.
