Vibration or Knocking Noise from the Center of the Vehicle. When accelerating, there is a knocking, or vibration, felt from the center of the vehicle. This sensation can be easily duplicated when accelerating with the transmission in 2nd or 3rd gear (manual mode). Torque flex in the rear driveshaft.
