Bulletin Summary
"Engine Idle Speed Fluctuates Intermittently, when Shifting into Gear. While stationary, the engine idle speed could fluctuate (once or a few times) after engaging either ""Drive"" or ""Reverse gear. It is possible that the engine could also stall. This situation is intermittent, difficult to reproduce, and would not cause a fault to be stored. However, it is more likely to occur right after restarting a hot engine, A/C on, steering turned, and at ambient temperatures above 70° F. CAUSE DME software error (idle speed controller set point)."
About Technical Service Bulletins
A Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) is a document issued by a vehicle manufacturer to its dealers, describing a known issue with a specific vehicle or set of vehicles and the recommended procedure to fix it. Unlike recalls, TSBs are not mandatory and are typically only performed if an owner reports the related issue. However, TSBs can be an indicator of common problems with a vehicle.
