According to Fords Campaign 22S65/22V791: "In some of the affected vehicles, the heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) systemâÂÂs controls, including defog and defrost, may become inoperative. Loss of the ability to control the vehicles defrost or defog function may decrease the driverâÂÂs visibility under certain driving conditions, increasing the risk of a crash. This repair can be performed via Mobile repair."
