Bulletin Summary
Certain 2023-2025MY GV70 Electrified (JK1A EV), 2023-25MY GV60 (JW1 EV) and 2023-25MY G80 Electrified (RG3 EV) vehicles may exhibit a condition while driving where the 12V battery voltage drops below the operational voltage and the Vehicle Control Unit (VCU) places the vehicle in “Limp Home” mode. The VCU software in this bulletin updates the maximum vehicle speeds for various levels of 12V battery voltage when the vehicle enters “Limp Home” mode.
