Bulletin Summary

Condition: The front seat belt webbing is twisted, this is evident in both the stowed position and also when the seat belt is worn. Technical Background The seat belt webbing twists on retraction, this is due to the gap between the seat belt webbing guide and the webbing being out of tolerance. The modification within this TPI should be applied to both the right and left hand side regardless if only one side is at fault. IMPORTANT: During this TPI the workshop manual is quoted to help in carrying out various tasks, it is recommended that the procedures referenced are checked by the operative as the process within the workshop manual may have changed since last viewed.

About Technical Service Bulletins

A Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) is a document issued by a vehicle manufacturer to its dealers, describing a known issue with a specific vehicle or set of vehicles and the recommended procedure to fix it. Unlike recalls, TSBs are not mandatory and are typically only performed if an owner reports the related issue. However, TSBs can be an indicator of common problems with a vehicle.
