Fitment of control modules from donor vehicles for test purposes. Technical background: If an issue is suspected for one of the control modules listed below: - Onboard supply control unit (J519) - Convenience system central control unit (J393) - Data bus diagnostics interface (J533) - Control unit 1 for Information Electronics (J794) - Control unit in dash panel insert (J285) - Emergency call module control unit (J949) The fitment of donor parts from another vehicle is not advisable and only possible if approved from Product Support via an open DISS query. The donor of parts should only be used as a temporary test VERY IMPORTANT: The ODIS replace routine MUST NOT be carried out under any circumstances.
