Bulletin Summary
Headlamp switch - Inoperative/Not illuminated - DTC U110B00 within 09-Central Electrics (BCM1). Customer statement: Headlamp switch - Inoperative/Not illuminated Workshop findings - DTC U110B00 within 09-Central Electrics (BCM1) as shown in Figure 1 Figure 1 - Yellow warning light/message within the DIP (Adaptive Lighting Fault) NOTE: Some lighting functionalities can in some cases be lost for example: - Rear fog light activation - All weather lighting mode activation - Headlamps default to dipped beam however high beam will still activate manually NOTE: Recycling the ignition will not resolve the problem Technical background: The issue will not occur when the ignition is on and/or the vehicle is being driven. It occurs as the headlamp switch goes into a âÂÂsleepâ state after ignition is Switched OFF, the issue is then evident to the driver when the ignition is next switched ON
