Bulletin Summary
Mercedes-Benz AG, the manufacturer of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, has determined that on certain MY 2018 S-Class (222 platform) vehicles, the engine control unit software does not correspond to current Specifications. As a consequence, the evaporative leak detection system may not reliably detect leaks of 0.5 millimeters. MBUSA will conduct a service campaign. An authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer will update the engine control unit software.
