Bulletin Summary
17467 - Customer Satidfaction Program. Certain vehicles, equipped with diesel engines, may have a condition in which the Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) hoses can crack and allow transmission fluid to leak. You may notice fluid on the ground, the transmission and/or check engine light(s) on the instrument panel may illuminate, or the ability of the vehicle to accelerate at higher speeds could be impacted. Dealers are to replace the ATF hoses and clamps, even if they were recently replaced.
About Technical Service Bulletins
A Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) is a document issued by a vehicle manufacturer to its dealers, describing a known issue with a specific vehicle or set of vehicles and the recommended procedure to fix it. Unlike recalls, TSBs are not mandatory and are typically only performed if an owner reports the related issue. However, TSBs can be an indicator of common problems with a vehicle.
