The engine ECU (Engine Control Unit) on all 2016MY-2018MY trucks contained in dealer inventory need to be reprogrammed prior to delivery. Subject vehicles contain an error in the DEF monitoring program. To eliminate this situation, it is necessary to reprogram the engine ECU with improved software prior to sale of the vehicle.
