15821 - SPECIAL COVERAGE. A MALFUNCTION INDICATOR LAMP (MIL) MAY ILLUMINATE WITH DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) P0420, CATALYST SYSTEM LOW EFFICIENCY, STORED. THIS COULD OCCUR AS A RESULT OF AN EXHAUST LEAK AT THE CONNECTION OF THE BANK 1 CATALYTIC CONVERTER OUTLET TO THE MUFFLER INLET PIPE. NO OTHER DTCS WILL BE STORED. THIS SPECIAL COVERAGE COVERS THE CONDITION DESCRIBED ABOVE FOR A PERIOD OF 8 YEARS OR 80,000 MILES (130,000 KM), WHICHEVER OCCURS FIRST, FROM THE DATE THE VEHICLE WAS ORIGINALLY PLACED IN SERVICE, REGARDLESS OF OWNERSHIP. DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE EXHAUST PIPE CLAMP.
