Bulletin Summary
Engine Stall Immediately Following Fuel Tank Fill-Up (X60 Warranty Extension) This bulletin involves replacing the fuel tank and vapor canister. Some customers may experience an engine stumble or stall condition which occurs immediately after filling the fuel tank. The integral multi-functional control valve may stick allowing liquid fuel to enter the evaporative emissions system causing a rich fuel condition when the purge system is initiated.
About Technical Service Bulletins
A Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) is a document issued by a vehicle manufacturer to its dealers, describing a known issue with a specific vehicle or set of vehicles and the recommended procedure to fix it. Unlike recalls, TSBs are not mandatory and are typically only performed if an owner reports the related issue. However, TSBs can be an indicator of common problems with a vehicle.
