Updating the TCM (Transmission Control Module) to the latest level software. REASON - A new TCM SW update is available on EmiraDS to resolve the following issues: - Fix to shift solenoid diagnostics failing to detect faults during shifts. - Fix to reported gear to ECM once in mechanical limp home or forced gear neutral to prevent lockout of PRND shifts if solenoid fails in transition between gears. - Fix to displayed gear in edge case (more then one failure at the same time) leading to stuck in reverse while trying to achieve force neutral fault reaction. ACTION - This is a market service activity to proactively schedule customers to come back to the dealership for this latest level software update as described in this technical service bulletin. - Check and identify any affected Emira vehicles from your inventory stock, dealer demonstrators and customer vehicles to ensure that this campaign action is performed at the first opportunity. - Any affected vehicle’s campaign status will be displayed on the Lotus Commercial Management System (LCMS).
