Bulletin Summary
Concerns: All-wheel drive control unit Information: This is to inform you of a voluntary Workshop Campaign on the above-mentioned vehicles. There is a possibility that the active all-wheel drive system Porsche TractionManagement (PTM) on the affected vehicles will deliver toomuch propulsion force to the front axle when taking off at full load. This can put greater strain on the inner joints of the front drive shafts under certain conditions, e.g. when off-road mode is activated. This can result in noises or vibrations in the front axle area.
About Technical Service Bulletins
A Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) is a document issued by a vehicle manufacturer to its dealers, describing a known issue with a specific vehicle or set of vehicles and the recommended procedure to fix it. Unlike recalls, TSBs are not mandatory and are typically only performed if an owner reports the related issue. However, TSBs can be an indicator of common problems with a vehicle.
