Concerns: Water drain valves on air cleaner housing Information: In certain environmental conditions, e.g. during heavy rain, there is a possibility that water can get into the air cleaner housing via the engine compartment lid on the affected vehicles. Depending on howmuch water has leaked in, the water may not be able to drain away quickly enough through the water drain valves provided for this purpose. As a result, there is a possibility that the air cleaner will age prematurely because of the increased wet and dry phases. This can cause reduced filter throughput and the customer may notice reduced engine power as a result.
