Bulletin Summary
Some vehicles may exhibit a check engine light ON with DTC P20F8:00 stored. P20F8:00 - Swirl control circuit range/performance problem. • The DTC is caused by overheating of the Swirl Control Valve (SCV) motor which leads to duty limitation, causing poor openingangle response and resulting in stuck judgment. To eliminate this concern, the PCM control software has been modified.
About Technical Service Bulletins
A Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) is a document issued by a vehicle manufacturer to its dealers, describing a known issue with a specific vehicle or set of vehicles and the recommended procedure to fix it. Unlike recalls, TSBs are not mandatory and are typically only performed if an owner reports the related issue. However, TSBs can be an indicator of common problems with a vehicle.
