WHILE TRAVELING, DASH LIGHT STARTED BLINKING OFF AND ON INTERMITTENTLY AND WITHOUT PRIOR WARING, CONSUMER NOTICED STEERING COLUMN WAS SMOKING, VEHICLE WAS ON FIRE. DEALERSHIP WAS AWARE OF PROBLEM.*AK CONSUMER STATES THAT ONE OF THE WIRES FOR THE OVERDRIVE LOCK OUT BUTTON ON THE END OF THE SHIFTER COLUMN HAD SHORTED OUT, STARTING A SMALL FIRE INSIDE THE STEERING COLUMN. *SLC
