Consumer Description

I FIRST DISCOVERED THE LEAKING REAR WINDOW A YEAR AGO( THE TRUCK WAS LESS THAN 2 YRS OLD) WITH 53000 MILES AND HAD IT REPAIRED AT THE DEALER FOR 180.00 IT IS UNKNOWN HOW LONG IT WAS LIKE THAT BECAUSE IT WAS A PASSENGER IN THE BACK SEAT THAT NOTICED IT WAS LEAKING AFTER A HEAVY RAIN. THIS NEW LEAK WAS DISCOVERED YESTERDAY BY ME AFTER A CAR WASH AND IT WAS IN THE SAME LOCATION AS THE FIRST ONE. THE TRUCK IS LESS THAN 3 YEARS OLD AND HAS 84150 MILES. I WILL REPORT THIS TO THE DEALER TOMORROW 12/12/2000. THE CRACK IN THE DRIVER SIDE DOOR SHEET METAL WAS DISCOVERED AFTER READING ABOUT THE PROBLEM ON A WEB SITE 12/11/2000 (WWW.FORD-TRUCKS.COM) IT WAS LISTED AS A COMMON PROBLEM ON 97, 98,99,2000 F150S. WHEN I CHECKED I DISCOVERED THE CRACK WITH A LITTLE RUST ON IT A COUPLE INCHES UP FROM THE BOTTOM WINDOW MOLDING.
