Consumer Description

STARTED ENGINE OK; DROVE 2 BLOCKS TO MAJOR INTERSECTION; ACCELERATED FROM STOP SIGN INTO 35 MPH TRAFFIC TO MERGE WITH TRAFFIC; ENGINE STOPPED WHILE MERGING; ALL DASH LIGHTS CAME ON; COULD NOT RESTART ENGINE; COASTED TO STOP BLOCKING LANE AND INTERSECTION; COULD NOT RESTART; HAD TO BE TOWED TO DEALER; AFTER SEVERAL DAYS, DEALER INDICATED THAT FUEL PUMP FUSE HAD OPENED; DEALER DECIDED TO REPLACE FUSE AND INSTALL NEW PUMP, BUT DID NOT KNOW REAL CAUSE OF OPEN FUSE; ORDERED PUMP; VEHICLE STILL DISABLED AFTER 5 DAYS.
