NHTSA Complaint #11715180 — 2022 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 1500

At 60,079 miles (just after reaching the 60,000 mile drivetrain warranty limit) received message on dash indicating reduced acceleration accompanied by the check engine light. Message would clear after the truck was restarted. Message came back occasionally over the next few months. After checking the codes I found a P0747 code indicating a problem with the transmission valve body: solinoid A stuck on. I opted to fix it myself by installing a valve body upgrade kit from NextGen Drivetrain. GM valve body is worthless. A $70,000+ truck should be more reliable. Thank you to NextGen Drivetrain for a real solution where GM failed. GM should pay.
