Consumer Description
The contact owns a 2023 Triumph Scrambler 1200 XC. The contact stated that while riding at various speeds, there was an abnormal squeaking sound coming from the front of the motorcycle. There was no warning light illuminated. The motorcycle was taken to a local dealer, where it was diagnosed, and determined that the squeak was coming from the judder spring. The contact was shown a photo of the clutch shaft selection arm. The contact stated that fibers were clinging to the tip of the shaft. The dealer stated that by removing the judder spring, it would repair the motorcycle. Motorcycle. The contact stated that the failure had reoccurred. The motorcycle was not taken back to the dealer. The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 6,000.
