The contact called the local dealer and was advised that parts were not yet available for the recall repair. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact had been changing the oil every 3,000 miles as mitigation for the remedy not being available. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure.
