NHTSA Complaint #11709122 — 2022 KIA EV6

The contact owns a 2022 Kia EV6 equipped with Kumho Tires, Tire Line: Crugen, Tire Size: 235/55/R19, DOT Number [XXX] . The contact stated while driving approximately 60 MPH, the vehicle started vibrating abnormally. The vehicle was driven to the dealer and the technician at the dealer stated that the inner lining of the tires had separated on the driver’s side front and rear passenger’s side tires. The tires were the original equipment. The contact stated that the tires were replaced. The contact was unable to reach the manufacturer for assistance. The failure mileage was 12,000.
