Consumer Description
The contact owns a 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The contact stated while driving 60 MPH and attempting to change lanes, the Lane Departure feature activated, and the vehicle started beeping and accelerated independently into the bike lane. No warning light was illuminated. A dealer was contacted. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer or independent mechanic to be diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 17,306.
