NHTSA Complaint #11687844 — 2024 CHEVROLET TRAX

The contact owns a 2024 Chevrolet Trax. The contact had received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V744000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM); and the vehicle was taken to a local dealer where the recall repair was performed; however, the contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the instrument panel was blank and failed to display the speedometer. There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer, where it was diagnosed, and the contact was informed that the battery was faulty and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 41,000.
