NHTSA Complaint #11685795 — 2015 CHEVROLET CAMARO

The flip key fob gets stuck every time I park and will not come out for average 15-20 & sometimes it will come out if I move the gear shift to all gears and then put back in park. It doesn't always work though. This was a recall, owners were given a new flat key which I was not, and I do not believe the dealership (Classic Elite Chevrolet) corrected the recall. This has been an ongoing issue since 2020, after buying the car September of 2018. I was also given 2 key flip key fobs, which one was broken because the previous owner's knee hit the fob and the key broke off. It is obvious this ignition switch issue causing the key to remain stuck in the ignition was never fixed. I have asked for proof that it was fixed and I was told they couldn't provide proof or provide me with the flat keys that were to be provided after the recall. Check engine light comes on randomly, then will go off a day or two days later. I connect my sensor and it says 3 items: 1-high purge flow 2-cylinder 1 misfire detected 3-GM failure recorded. Yet, my car passed all the testing for inspection. I do not believe the dealership corrected any of the recalls that were issued for the 2015 Chevy Camaro when I purchased it. I have spent thousands of dollars taking my car into the certified service center to be told, it's basically all in my head, and I know it's not. 100%. I need answers. I need proof. I need to know why the recalls that were "supposedly" completed, have resulted in the same problems still occurring years after the recalls were issued.
