Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2015 Ford Fusion. The contact stated that occasionally, while shifted into reverse, the rearview camera failed to properly display the rearview image as intended. The contact stated that the message "Contact the Dealer" was displayed on the instrument panel. The local dealer was contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 155,000.
