The contact owns a 2015 Ford Fusion. The contact stated while exiting the vehicle, the contact became aware that the brake light was illuminated. The contact stated that while attempting to depress the brake pedal, the brake pedal was loose. There was an unknown warning light illuminated. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V162000 (SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC); however, the part to do the recall repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure; however, was unable to confirm when the parts would become available. The failure mileage was 126,000. Parts distribution disconnect.
