NHTSA Complaint #11669038 — 2023 CADILLAC ESCALADE

The contact owns a 2023 Cadillac Escalade. The contact stated while driving 75 MPH, while depressing the accelerator pedal, the vehicle failed to respond as intended and the contact heard a chugging sound coming from the engine. The dealer was contacted. The contact pulled over to the right side of the road awaiting towing assistance. The vehicle was towed to a dealer where it was diagnosed and determined that the engine needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact stated that the failure had occurred before receiving notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V274000 (ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING). The manufacturer was notified on the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 16,575.
