NHTSA Complaint #11668980 — 2023 CADILLAC ESCALADE

The contact owns a 2023 Cadillac Escalade. The contact stated while driving 50 MPH, while depressing the accelerator pedal, the rear end seized which cause the vehicle to skid. The dealer was contacted. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed; however, the result was unknown. The vehicle was repaired, and the rearview camera and bolts were replaced. The contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V274000 (ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING); however, the dealer confirmed that the failure was not related to the recall. The manufacturer was not notified on the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 37,000.
