NHTSA Complaint #11661558 — 2024 GMC SIERRA 1500

On [XXX] this vehicle was in Blue Cruise on [XXX] in Louisiana when it without warning coasted to a stop after the engine quit. Cruise lights remained active, no other lights were illuminated, and the vehicle simply rolled to a stop. La. DOT assisted. The vehicle was towed (complicated that once placed into park, and the engine would not restart, the vehicle cannot easily be placed in neutral to be towed). The vehicle was trailered some ~50 miles and sits at Rainbow NorthShore GMC in Covington, La. This is a series, life threatening situation that all vehicles need be removed from the road.
