NHTSA Complaint #11660291 — 2022 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER

The Forward Collision Mitigation camera failed, prompting the center screen to continuously blink and beep uncontrollably with no ability to turn off the blinking or beeping. The constant blinking locks up all controls such that you are unable to adjust any of the settings, and the constant beeping is loud enough to cause the driver to be unable to reasonably hear their surroundings and cause annoyance/agitation to the driver. The problem was inspected & diagnosed by Valley Mitsubishi in Longmont, CO. The problem first appeared on [XXX] with the warning light first coming on in the morning and the continuous blinking/beeping/lockup occurring by evening that same day.
