Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2021 GMC Yukon. The contact stated that upon starting the vehicle, the engine oil light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer where the vehicle was diagnosed and the contact was advised that the engine was consuming an excessive amount of oil; however, the contact was informed that there was no repair available because the oil consumption had not met the requirements for a repair. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 58,000.
