The contact stated that recently while driving 60 MPH, the vehicle failed to accelerate as intended while depressing the accelerator pedal, and the engine seized. No warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was towed to the dealer, who determined that the engine had seized. The vehicle was not repaired due to the cost and remained with the dealer. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 10,000.
