Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2019 Ram 1500. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V653000 (Service Brakes, Hydraulic, Electronic Stability Control (ESC). The vehicle was taken to a dealer where the recall repair was completed. The contact was advised by the mechanic at the dealer that the system update caused the e-brake to seize, and the dealer was awaiting the delivery of the part to repair the vehicle. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 98,000.
