NHTSA Complaint #11650813 — 2015 JEEP WRANGLER

The contact owns a 2015 Jeep Wrangler. While the contact's wife was driving at an undisclosed speed, the accelerator pedal was depressed; however, the vehicle failed to accelerate as intended. Additionally, the contact stated the vehicle failed to exceed 20 MPH. The contact stated that several unknown warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed with ABS module failure. The contact was informed that the ABS module needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact was informed that the parts were on backorder. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 25,400.
